I’m excited to announce that I have been sworn into the Board of Directors at Transition House, the East Coast’s first domestic violence shelter. Transition House opened their doors 40 years ago and have continued to be a leader in the field of addressing domestic violence intervention and prevention. During my high school career, I was President of Sisters on the Runway, a student-run organization that raised money for Transition House and was a resource for domestic violence education on campus. I am excited to join Transition House for the next 3 years and continue working towards ending the cycle of domestic violence in our community. Thank you Transition House for this wonderful honor!
